Founding customers: free for 6 months
One platform for the work between the gate and the ledger
Clor runs the back office of an Indian business on one login: attendance from the biometric readers you already have, GST accounting, and payroll that posts straight to the books. Start with one, add the rest when you need them.
- One login across every app
- Your data on a server you control
- Built for Indian GST and statutory rules
- Add apps as you grow
- Hosted in India, or on your own server
The apps Clor is made of
Each app stands on its own and shares one sign-in, one company and one employee list with the others — so attendance feeds payroll, and payroll posts to accounting, without re-keying anything.
Attendance Available
Turns punches from ZKTeco and eSSL readers into live attendance, statutory registers and a monthly payroll file.
What it does →Accounting Available
Invoices, bills, GST and a double-entry ledger that balances itself. Built for Indian tax, not adapted to it.
Payroll Available
Salaries, statutory deductions and payslips — with the journal they post to the ledger, and attendance feeding the days.
People Coming
The one staff directory every other app refers to — joined, confirmed, resigned, in one place.
Projects Coming
Projects, the time booked to them, and what each one actually cost.
One company, one bill
Pick the apps you need. Your people, roles and data are shared across them — not copied into each.
Start free →Attendance — everything between the gate and the payslip
Clor collects punches from your readers and phones, works out each person's day against their shift, and gives HR the records they are asked for — without spreadsheets in between.
Live attendance
Who is in, who is late and which reader has gone quiet — updated as people punch, not at the end of the day.
Statutory registers
Muster roll with father's or husband's name, overtime register and leave register for any period, ready to download.
Shifts that match the floor
Day and night shifts, rotations, grace periods and weekly offs — including "2nd and 4th Saturday off".
Leave and corrections
Leave applications and balances, approvals, manual entries and regularizations — every change kept in an audit trail.
Feeds payroll every month
Payable days, loss of pay and overtime flow straight into Clor Payroll — or export for Tally, greytHR, ERPNext, Odoo or Horilla.
Phone punch for site staff
An employee portal with a GPS geofence and an optional selfie, for people who never pass a reader.
Registers an inspector can read
The muster roll marks every worker's day — present, absent, leave, holiday, weekly off — from the same data your payroll uses, so the two never disagree.
- Corrections count. A manual entry or approved regularization shows as present, and is paid.
- Your weekly-off rules. A working Saturday is a working day, not an automatic "W".
- Honest gaps. Days when no reader reported are marked as no data — never quietly as absent.
Payroll that already knows the days
Because attendance and payroll are one platform, the month's payable days, loss of pay and overtime are already there — and the pay run posts its journal to the ledger.
- Payable days, loss of pay, overtime per employee, carried from attendance.
- Statutory deductions and payslips, then a journal posted to Accounting.
- Formats for Tally, a greytHR-style upload, or a full CSV when you need them.
Live in a day, without new hardware
Keep the readers on your walls and the books you already keep. Clor talks to them over the network you already use.
Tell us about your business
How many people, which readers, which apps you want to start with. A short call is enough.
We set Clor up with you
On your own server, or a private instance we host in India. We point your readers at it and check the first punches arrive.
Import your people once
From a spreadsheet or straight from the readers. From then on attendance, payroll and the ledger share the same list.
The first 50 companies use Clor free
Clor is new. Rather than guess what Indian businesses need, we would like to build it with a small group of them.
What you get
- Every app free for 6 months. No card, no contract to sign up.
- Setup done with you, including connecting your readers.
- A direct line to the founder for problems and feature requests.
- After 6 months: a founding price locked at 50% off — or stay free if you have up to 25 employees and one reader.

- Two short feedback calls, in your first and fourth week.
- An honest review once you have used it for a while.
- Permission to name you as a customer — only if you are happy with it.

Before you sign up
Is it really free?
Yes. Founding customers use every app free for six months, with no card and no contract. Afterwards you can take the founding price, locked at 50% off, or stay on the free plan if you have up to 25 employees and one reader.
Can I start with just one app?
Yes. Many companies start with Attendance or Accounting and add the others later. Because it is one platform, your people and data are already there when you do — nothing to migrate.
Do I need my own server?
No. We can run a private Clor instance for you, hosted in India, with its own database. If you prefer to keep everything on your premises, Clor installs on a Linux machine with Docker and runs without internet access.
Which readers work with Clor?
ZKTeco-family readers that support push communication (ADMS), which includes most eSSL models. Other brands can send punches through Clor's JSON intake — tell us the model and we will check.
What about our data and the DPDP Act?
Each company has its own separate instance and database; nothing is shared between customers and nothing is sold. Clor includes a privacy notice for your employees, and you can export your records whenever you like. You stay the owner of your data.
Who is behind Clor?
Clor is built by Suresh Kumar in Bengaluru. As a founding customer you talk to him directly.
